| To confirm whether students have basic information knowledge to be equipped with in the digitalization society, the knowledge and capability to use the basic information knowledge are measured in the fields of information society, information society & computers and information & communications. The test questions are plain in line with the contents and level of the curriculum of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology along with information use. Simple evaluation of a memorizing ability or fragmental knowledge will be restrained, and questions that can measure an ability to use information to solve given situations will be provided. |

| The certification tests are divided into elementary school division, middle/high school division and adult division, and into first, second and third grades and into written and practical tests. The qualification for each test is given to the enrolled students of the concerned courses and anyone equipped with equivalent qualification. |

- Paper written test is conducted. The test paper and OMR card are distributed to each applicant, and the students should mark correct answer for each question using a water felt-tipped pen.
- The type of questions is a multiple-choice method. |
